Blown away with this property!

It was wonderful!

The accommodation was outstanding, very spacious with sumptuous furniture, very cosy making it the perfect setting to relax.

Vina was lovely and very welcoming. We were sorry to leave. Lovely place, lovely setting - just perfect.

Beautiful views and amazing accommodation.

The only downside there was no toilet downstairs otherwise it was perfect.

We enjoyed an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay in the property.

The owner kindly supplied some essential provisions like margarine, milk, eggs etc and she met us at the beginning of our stay to say hello and ask if we had any questions. We were welcome to explore and walk around the vast estate which had extensive and beautiful views over to the Mourne mountains. Overall a stunning property to spend time at.

Substantial and rather grand property.

Wing of larger estate house. Working horse stud farm. Fabulous countryside location with sweeping views and walks. Extremely comfortable. Near Banbridge which offers supermarkets and many restaurants in addition to more local dining. 40 mins from Belfast. Excellent host (Vina). Superior welcome pack. Very happy to recommend.

Scarvagh House is absolutely beautiful.

Views are fantastic. Spotlessly clean and decorated and equipped to the very highest standard. The owner is lovely and went out of her way to be helpful. Perfect for our stay!

The apartment was luxuriously appointed, clean and very comfortable.

It was a very spacious property, very private and with lovely views. Vina was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. She generously left a fridge full of provisions as well as fruit on the table, when at the most we had hoped for a pint of milk! There were fresh flowers upstairs and down and all the little extras like soap, shampoo etc that make for an easy time. We would certainly recommend Scarvagh House as a holiday venue.

The apartment ( part of a wing of Scarvagh House) is lovely & comfortable & the large estate offers walks through the woods, horse paddocks & lakes.

Scarvagh house owners are very concerned to make your stay as good as it can be & offer information about places of interest in the area. They provide generous provisions to get you started when you arrive. A very relaxing place to stay.

Having stayed in holiday cottages over the years this is the best one ever.

We would not hesitate to recommend this property. It is clean and comfortable with everything you need and Vina the owner cannot do enough to make your holiday one to remember. The hostess with the mostess. An excellent base for exploring a beautiful area,

Very comfortable, peaceful and well equipped in lovely grounds.

We found the location central for our days out not having to travel too far to visit the sights. The canal path close to the cottage was a bonus and we used it with our bikes in both directions, nearby restaurant and pub so we didn't have to drive. Vina was a wonderful host and very approachable. Thank you for the wonderful welcome hamper, full of the tastes of Ireland we would love to return and certainly recommend it to friends and family.

Amazing location and the host was extremely attentive to our needs.

They provided lots of extra tips, help and support. The welcome pack was superb. I would recommend a stay here for rest and relaxation in a beautiful countryside location but near amenities and only 45 mins from Belfast, the sea side and other points of interest. Village tea room and restaurant definitely worth a visit.

What a beautiful apartment in a fabulous location.

Never stayed in anything so opulent. Vinas hospitality was second to none, fresh eggs, fruit, bread, butter, milk and even a quality bottle of wine.

An exceptional self catering property located in beautiful grounds with scenic views over the countryside.

The property was well-appointed, cosy and a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding areas of Armagh and South Down. With the village a quick walk away we had access to a lovely restaurant and a separate coffee shop and enjoyed both. The host, Vina, was excellent and made us feel really at home and welcomed. This is one of the best self catering properties we have ever stayed in and we will certainly be back.
