Tí Tom Nárta is a gorgeous large cottage, surrounded by rugged scenery and amazing views.

We had an amazing time in the house. My son especially enjoyed the mini pool table. The beds are lovely and comfy, the house is wonderfully warm and stocked with everything you need on a holiday. And the internet was amazingly fast. I can't recommend this house enough for a escape from the hustle and bustle of the towns and cities. We will definitely be back at some stage.

Lovely modern house with all mod cons.

Very spacious property with lovely sea views. Really peaceful break away. Just what we needed.

We had a great time, the house is very comfortable and well maintained.

The facilities are great and the house had everything we needed during our stay. The local area is remote but beautiful and the local community are very welcoming. We will visit again.

The house had everything that we needed. Comfy beds plenty of hot water for showers or baths. We were lucky with the weather during our stay (May 10th until May 17th) so didn’t need any heating on. A well equipped kitchen we spent most of our evenings in the conservatory. Wonderful views and it was lovely to hear the cuckoo’s.

Ti Tom Narta was a clean comfortable home with beautiful views of the sea.

The kitchen was complete with everything needed to prepare an Irish meal. The location is ideal for a quiet remote retreat. A small grocery is close by. A beautiful hiking trail surrounds the area. Plenty of horses, cows and doggies in the neighborhood too. We had a wonderful two week stay and highly recommend a stay at TiTom Narta thru Sykes rental for your next Irish vacation!

The directions to the property were rather vague, the first distance given did not have a starting point, such as the end of the causeway after Lettermore.

Also it stated the house was on the right when in fact it was on the left. Additionally the name of the house on the gate or wall would be useful as we asked two local people, neither of them knew which house it was. Other than this our stay was wonderful, very comfortable and stunning views. We would recommend the house fully.

Spacious, warm (underfloor heating), well equipped, fantastic far reaching views.

5 minute walk to lovely little beach. Huge American style fridge/freezer so only shop once for the week. Comfortable beds. Clean. Loads of space for parking. Excellent broadband wi-fi. Super quiet. Would definitely return.

After months staying in numerous cottages, we found this one disappointing.

It’s in a great location, has loads of tv channels and is very spacious and modern in the kitchen and living areas but the bathrooms are very small and we didn’t feel the cottage had much personality or any welcoming feel. Outside, there’s no name to identify the property and the grounds are rough and full of weeds and litter. Inside, even though we arrived after the cleaners had been, the heating was off despite the recent sub zero temperatures and the place was stone cold. There was no welcome note or milk, no fuel for the wood burner or any information about the oil heating, waste disposal, any local maps, suggestions or visitors book. Even the wall switch for the cooker is unmarked. A lack of soft furnishings and décor means the cottage looks a little bare and is a little noisy. The bed was comfortable and the bedding and towels clean and of reasonable quality. Whilst the floors, furniture and bathrooms were clean, the oven trays were in such a state they needed to be lined with foil and all the cooking pans we used needed to be thoroughly cleaned first. It’s a functional, spacious cottage in a great location with fantastic views and I imagine it would be a much better stay in summer than winter but if we were in this area again, we’d be staying elsewhere.

House is fantastic,warm and comfortable with spectacular views.

Outside area is rough and could do with some attention,especially as there is a clothes line at back of garage .We had a fantastic stay and will be booking again next year .

There is a magic about Trabane, that over the course of the week made us fall in love with the place.

.. from the spacious comfort of the house, the friendly and so helpful owner and her family, the beauty of the winding lanes and the tiny fields with quirky stone walls, fantastic swimming a minutes walk down the road, the views from the house especially as we ate our evening meal outside looking over to the Aran Islands , the wild flowers and fuscia, feeding apples to the donkeys, the beautiful connemara ponies and foals, the seaweed baths at the seaweed centre, exploring and finding the white sand beaches at Furnace and above all the random conversations with the local people who have been the friendliest we have ever encountered. I was sad leaving.

Its difficult to find the appropriate words - WOW - would be an accurate way of describing this property.

The whole experience was unforgettable, the property, the area, the weather and the people, just great.

House in lovely rural setting, peace and quiet absolute bliss. Family only across the road with some lovely stories and we had a great time with Coileain. We were blessed with the weather, sunny all week and some amazing beaches. A huge thanks to Elizabeth and Lawrence the owners who are only a phone call away. Really enjoyed our stay in a lovely remote area of Galway.

The cottage was very comfortable and the owner very helpful over the phone. Some minor suggestions for improving Better instructions to get there- we arrived in The dark and ended up up knocking on someone’s door to find the cottage. Maybe a name on the driveway would help Some instructions in the house as to how to work the heating , and possibly the cooker. We managed in the end but might have been helpful A mirror in each bedroom A guest book would be lovely so we could have left some ideas for great things to do and local shops etc All in all we had a wonderful time and these are really small things

The town of Trabane was so quiet and peaceful and beautiful.

We loved seeing the cows, horses, donkeys, and cats. The cottage itself was well cleaned, the bed was comfortable, and there was a good supply of kitchen dishes, tools, and even a few spices. Note that the fridge is not hooked up to dispense its own water supply, but the tap water was delicious and safe to drink. There is not wifi per se, but there was a portable wifi device that our host's brother was sooooo helpful in helping us set up! The only issue we had was with mice/bugs. We saw a mouse, found some mouse droppings in a cabinet, and could hear them in the walls/ceilings. Our host's brother brought by a high-frequency device to help scare them away, but this only somewhat worked for us. There were also a lot of wood lice emerging from a couple cracks inside, and a giant house spider. I guess these are just things that come with staying near nature, unfortunately. But this issue aside, the place was otherwise perfect. The location is a bit over an hour from Galway City, so it is close enough to access the city and other areas if needed, but secluded and quiet enough to truly disconnect and relax. There is a fantastic walking trail down by the beach that goes around the island, and views of Cliffs of Moher in the distance on clear days. A small grocery/convenience store (Costcutter), a bar (Hooker Bar), and a food truck (The Dutch Van) were all about 10-15 minutes away. Other areas of interest nearby we visited: Diamond Head hike (1.5 hours drive) Doolin and Cliffs of Moher (2.5 hours).

Property was excellent in terms of quality of furniture and decoration.

Wonderful rural location close to small beach and harbour with only birds, bees and blackberries to be seen. Actually got to swim in the sea in mid September! The outdoor furniture was a nice surprise as we hadn’t seen any in the property photos. Problem with hot water fixed promptly which was great.

Elizabeth and Law's is a fantastic Holiday Home.

It was exactly as described and what we wanted. Remote enough to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind but with all the conveniences of a modern home. The house is situated in a very quiet area with only birds and cows disturbing the silence. The house is in easy walking distance to a great beach. There is a signposted circuit of the island which takes around two hours to walk, by the coast and along country lanes. Thoughrouly recommend both the area and Elizabeth's home and will be visiting again in the future.

I enjoyed the holiday very much.

The location is beautiful, just a few minutes walk from a lovely beach. The house is comfy, with a wonderful open plan living area that’s bright and airy. The property owner is kind and helpful. I would definitely love to stay again.

Lovely property in an excellent location.

We had a great week away. The weather was great too which was a real plus being so close to the beach. The only negative was that there was no washing machine in the house.

Wow,wow,wow.

What a beautiful home with seaviews to equal the best. Plenty of space in this very well presented/ equipped home. Family just over the road to assist/ advise on absolutely everything regarding the surrounding area. I've rented several properties throughout Ireland and can certainly highly recommend this at the top of my list. Beaches are literally on your doorstep. It is a rural setting and a car is advised although once here, you'll not wish to leave. Home owners only too happy to help and are a phone call away should you need them. Fishing is generally good around the area too. Shops and bars are a short trip up the road, where you'll find everything you need. Thanks again to Lawrence & Elizabeth for sharing their lovely home with us.

The cottage was beautiful, with everything there apart from a washing machine and a microwave.

It was very clean when we arrived, and the owners were very helpful and in contact when needed. The area is beautiful - but it is very rural, and not many places to eat out locally (that we could find) We had a lovely, restful holiday in this cottage.

The cottage is in a beautiful setting and ideal if you want a quiet and natural environment.

It is comfortable and spacious. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely return there.
