Shoemaker's Rest

The Shoemaker’s Rest is a very comfortable, well equipped and pleasant holiday home in historic Ardgroom Village in the wonderful Beara peninsula.

The owner Brendan & his wife were painstaking and very kind and hospitable hosts with great information and strong connections in the area. The freshly baked and tasty brown bread, butter and milk were especially welcome after our car trip of 400 kilometres. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

Lovely cottage, well sized rooms and very comfortable bedrooms.

Cosy and well equipped living areas and large fully equipped kitchen. The location opposite the pub and close to the village shop is excellent, with easy parking outside on the road. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful with his suggestions of places to visit and local restaurants which really enhanced our stay. Beautiful area and we’d love to come back.
