Rural and quiet. We slept very well

Very nice property in a rural setting with lovely views.

The house is well equipped and even the frying pan which wouldn't work on the induction hob was replaced within a day by the very genial host Caroline. The location is ideal to explore the three local peninsulas and there are a number of nearby historical sites to visit. We had a most enjoyable holiday. If your satnav doesn't accept eirecodes the map co-ordinates are 51.7215 degrees N and 9.3783 degrees W or alternatively Mapcode IRL 8MZ.S34.

Great property.

We had been let down by Sykes after having our original booking withdrawn six weeks prior to holiday, therefore this was a quick book for somewhere to stay. We weren't disappointed. We even had an Easter egg each (very thoughtful) Beds super comfy and a very peaceful area. Couldn't fault cleanliness. We bought some scissors and there are some other kitchen bits that would make it all great. This is no criticism of the House itself but it is a little remote, but travelling around the area allows you to make the most of beautiful Ireland...

Valley View House sure is a hidden gem!

This is the most lovely and beautiful place. We walked in and felt right at home. Caroline is a wonderful host who communicates very well, and the place was sparkling clean and very well managed. The tastful decor and the amazing job they did renovating this place stood out to us immediately. So much attention to detail! We loved especially the location, a private driveway tucks it away from the road and it has a stunning view of the valley. The kitchen is well stocked and well layed out. We are hoping to stay again in the future. A vaccation with no issues! Perfect!

Caroline and pat were perfect hosts, very easy to get hold of if we had any issues and responded promptly. The property was plenty spacious for the six of us and we found the beds extremely comfortable. Such a beautiful part of Ireland and would love to return. Our only recommendation would be when hiring a car, make sure it is suitable for the area. Valley view has a wonderful outlook, but it does have a rather steep and rocky driveway, very usual for the area.

Great house, well renovated, great host, We would def recommend to anyone who needs to stay in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at The Stall in West Cork.

The cottage is beautifully designed with a perfect mix of rustic charm and a modern twist, fully equipped with everything a family might need. The stone walls and high beams give it so much character, and waking up to the breathtaking countryside views each morning was amazing. We mentioned to our host Caroline that we would have a child with us, and she kindly provided a high chair and cot, which we were so grateful for. Caroline was amazing and always on hand if we needed anything. We left feeling completely relaxed and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended! Thanks again, The Cummins ❤️

Lovely relaxing stay at Valleyview, the house is set on a hill with magnificent views all around, sunrises and sunsets were awesome.

Perfect location for exploring West Cork which itself is stunning. Valleyview House has everything you could need or wish for and is decorated and furnished beautifully to a high standard. Our lovely host was very helpful and attentive and made the effort to come and meet us which was much appreciated. Thoroughly enjoyed our week and hope to return.

I booked this property for one week and from the get go Caroline was very accommodating I arrived a little late that wasn’t a problem caroline found a solution for me the home is absolutely out of this world and spotless the beds are very comfy everything you need is right there and Caroline is only one message away if you ever need her overall I’d definitely recommend this property and the owner and I will 100% be back for sure

We had a wonderful stay at this property.

We were the first rental so everything was new which was lovely for us . The property is a few miles outside Bantry and we used it as a base to visit the surrounding area including Skull , Inchydoney, Blares Cove and Mizen Head .
