Excellent location

The house was excellent, just what we needed, clean, comfortable and great views.

Really small niggle was the fact the curtains were so light and thin, dazzling for early summer mornings so eye masks are strongly recommended!

Well-designed and spacious house in a prime location for visiting Kerry.

Quiet, rural location but close to facilities in Glenbeigh. Great walks from the door. Lovely lawned gardens with mountain views and a sea view (just!). Wifi and TV very good! Good communication available with owners.

A very well-designed and well-equipped house, with great mountain views, very peaceful, but with easy access to the best parts of Kerry.

Meenteog did not disappoint in any way.

It's a beautiful open plan design yet cosy and well maintained. The location is ideal for exploring from Killarney to Catherdaniel and is in a very scenic spot. It was a pleasure staying here and I would definitely book again.

We had a really nice time staying at Meenteog, the facilities were first class, we couldn’t have asked for anything better.

The view from the house is amazing both to the front and the rear. It was a lovely quiet location which suited us perfectly. The communication with, and support from the owner was excellent. We have stayed in numerous self catering houses and this one was the best.

Great location for access to Glenbeigh, Rossbeigh beach & to explore County Kerry. What ever the weather a great location for memories to be made.

There were items not available that the listing had stated, the jacuzzi bath and DVD player, upon contacting the owner she apologised and said she had requested an update of the listing over a year ago!

The TV itself has sustained some damage and although usable the hole in the screen is noticeable. However more concerning was the label on the boiler stating that the due date for service was 16/7/21; there was a strong smell of oil always present in the utility room. These issues aside we loved staying in the mountains and enjoyed having our meals looking at the mountains. What a beautiful area!

Lovely lovely property but as it sleeps seven, need to provide a dining table to seat seven and not four.

Excellent facilities in a lovely quiet area, perfect for touring the area.

The cottage is in a quiet lovely location and the kitchen was well equipped despite the bottom oven being extremely slow to get to temperature on certain settings.

However there are certainly things that we all felt needed improvement . There is no comfortable outside sitting. A bench for older people isn’t appropriate. The TV is old and has a pixel showing In the middle of the tv. It was distracting. A new tv is desperately needed. The downstairs bedroom was very comfortable but we where constantly awoken by the other guests moving upstairs. Even when they crept around it was disturbing. The upstairs bedrooms need better beds and and proper wardrobes. My family where very uncomfortable on one of the beds and had to use another. This isn’t acceptable for a holiday rental. In general the place was showing signs of where and tear in places and needs an upgrade on certain items. Having said all of this the cottage is placed in the most beautiful part of Ireland and the parents of the owners visited to ask if all was well.

Beautiful house.

Very welcoming hosts. Unfortunately the distance into the village was too far to easily walk. The whirlpool bath didn't work - it was only after booking that I noticed a previous review also noted this but it had not been fixed and was still advertised as part of the house.

Very clean and well maintained but lounge sparsely furnished and therefore a bit 'cold'.

A cafetiere would have been most welcome, also summer weight duvet and second pillows

Needs a redecor within closed season to ring back to standard. Carpet clean required to remove stain in master bedroom. Apart from this first class.

Meenteog is a lovely property located in a very beautiful part of Kerry, this was our third booking and would happily book again.
