Stone Cottage

First of all Ty to Bernie and Deer to come out and help us find our way to the property at 10 pm.

The property is at an idle location in the ring of Kerry down South with stunning views. The property is clean, quite and provided us ample of space to enjoy it. Bernie and Deer have a friendly personality. Few recommendations being the heating to be allowed around the clock instead of 8 to 11 in evening and to add toiletries. This did not dampen our hols as I purchased some firewood from the local station and used the log burner. Otherwise the furniture and everything else is good.

We spent a glorious 2 weeks in this beautiful house set in the glorious countryside just minutes away from the ring of Kerry.

The hosts Bernie and Kerry were so friendly and helpful and we would love to come back again. The house is within easy reach of local beaches ( Ballinskelligs bay is a must) and a good base for day trips to Killarney , Sneem, Tralee, Dingle and Kenmare. There is so much to see and do your time will just fly by. Looking forward to returning in the future.

A spacious house with plenty of room to accommodate a large family. The house was very clean, comfortable and well provisioned. The hosts Bernie and Derry are so helpful and accommodating - they even helped us get a ticket for the All Ireland final ( Up Armagh!) The house is set in a very picturesque area a few minutes from Waterville and the ring of Kerry and about 20 minutes from Cahersiveen. Set in glorious countryside we can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Bernie and Derry for allowing us to stay.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely cottage and hiked a lot of trails and mountains in the area.

The kitchen is really well equipped and there ist much room for up two 6 persons. The contact with the owner was very friendly! Nothing to complain, we were fully satisfied and had a great time. Axel and Anne

The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Well located for the Ring of Kerry, a wonderfully scenic and interesting area to explore, this property was also near to good local facilities. We had a great holiday and would recommend this property to anyone.

Stone Cottage was a lovely comfortable home for our group of six, three couples.

It has a very well equipped kitchen with continuous hot water supply and in the three bathrooms. The cottage is in a beautiful rural setting with great views and within easy reach of Waterville and several other wonderful beauty spots and beaches. Our host, Bernie was very warm and welcoming and very quick to respond to our needs. I would highly recommend this home.

We had a great stay, in spite of the weather early in the week, and the area is absolutely stunning. The cottage had everything we needed, loads of space and the views from the garden, especially the night sky, were fantastic...a great feeling of space and a very tranquil setting. The recently added WiFi worked really well. You were excellent hosts and we both look forward to seeing you again in the future. Best wishes! Malcolm & Margaret.

The location is fantastic!

The cottage is very well appointed, with stunning views. There are a couple of points that could be addressed: 1) there should be a 'book' (lever arch file) with all the required information, such as wifi code, recyclicing systems, plus, all the information that tourists need, town map, eating places. To have the all in one folder would be helpful, 2) a hair dryer would be useful and, perhaps an ironing board. Overall, we had a great stay and the above points are very minor. On the last morning, whilst having breakfast, a Sparrowhawk landed on the window ledge - perfect. We'd definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the comfort that the cottage allowed.

It was a great setup. The only glitch we had during our stay was having the power cut out 3 times the first evening of our stay. Lots of candles in the cottage so we were fine. Beautiful scenery in the area. Would suggest lighter weight blankets as we found the duvets too warm

The house was absolutely fabulous with amazing scenery all around . The house was very clean and tidy with great space and easy to maintain.The setting of the the house was quiet and peaceful but still within very easy access to beach and town. It was very safe and secure with great facilities nearby and lots to see and do.

The cottage is beautiful, so very clean and comfortable. The views are wonderful and with Waterville just over the hill there is all you need for a peaceful, relaxing, get away from it all holiday.
