Borahard Lodge

Only issue was a problem with the septic tank.

There was quite a smell in the last couple of days. Probably needed emptying.

Excellent stay.

The accomodation is great, wonderful location, welcoming hosts. We look forward to staying again.

Excellent accomodation.

Very comfortable, great facilities. Great location, friendly hosts.

Great location Quiet

Could not find anything better than bourahard Lodge it has everything you need and the location is convenient for travelling to anywhere as it's near to the motorway.

Thank you once again Bridie for a great stay and looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Just returned from a relaxing week in this cottage.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a spacious cottage with all your needs met. From the comfortable beds,to the sittees in the living and kitchen space. With 2 bathrooms, and good heaters if it got cool in the evenings. The kitchen provided all accessories for cooking, and with safe parking and a little outside space it was the complete package. A new television would be a great bonus as it had limited channels but that's not a complaint just a constructive comment. Thanks to Bridie the owner a lovely Irish Mother,a pleasure to meet you, and William who is the caretaker and on hand helper. I have no trouble recommending Borahard Lodge for a relaxing break. Regards from the Belfast ladies. E Enjoyed our stsy .

friendly people , the place is quit and safety .

Hello, the stay at Borahard Lodge, will not remain in my memory.

A dirty cottage, the room shower only worked 2 days at the end of the stay. The lack of cooking utensils. 5 wine glasses for 6 people, a frying pan with a coating in very poor condition. The dirty freezer, with ice cubes glued to the bottom. One of the chairs was broken, which could have caused an accident. We paid an electricity bill, without having experienced consumption, no meter.

Excellent holiday place i would highly recommend staying here at bourahard Lodge as I have been coming here for 14 years now.

Always a great welcome from Bridie and family. Excellent location for getting to motorway and easy access to shopping centre in Newbridge. Thank you once again for a great week be back again soon.

We had a wonderful time!

Thank you! We were comfortable and cozy in the cottage (once we got things warmed up). Lots of dishes and all the pots and pans and such that you need to make meals. Excellent location, too. Newbridge is close and provides all the amenities you could ever want. Dublin airport is an easy 40-minute drive away.

Beautiful cottage, comfortable and fast WiFi.

Great location. Thanks Patrick for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back again.

I have been coming back here for some years now and it is always kept spotless.

Bridie is the most welcoming and friendly person you could ever meet she is always there to help you with any questions you have. I would highly recommend staying here.

Love staying here such a lovely cottage and Bridget is such a wonderful lady.

Cannot wait for our next holiday.

Bourahard Lodge is the best place to stay it is always kept spotless.

Bridie and her family are the most friendly and helpful people. The cottage is well kept and its very comfortable its like home from home. Me and my family have had a great week again here and will be back again soon .I have been coming here to Bourahard for many years now and would highly recommend it. Thank you once again Bridie. Breda

Everything was wonderful, except for the flushing of toilet.

We had a great stay. Please stay in touch. The cottage was in a perfect place within close distance to Dublin and the wedding place at Kilkea Castle. This was an amazing time for us.

The property is obviously very traditional, but with modern touches.

It had everything we needed, and provided a comfortable base for our short break close to Dublin. Thank you.

What a great cottage in a great location.

Far enough from Dublin to feel rural yet close enough to the Luas train (Red Cow Station) that you can get into the city in no time - without the grief of dealing with traffic and parking. Friendly owner, cozy cottage. Lots of nearby grocery stores and restaurants. If you're tired of staying in a hotel and just want to feel at home this is the place for you. I'd highly recommend Borahard Lodge for your stay.

Bourahard Lodge is the best place to stay I would highly recommend it to anyone I have been coming back here for a good few years now and it is like coming home.

Bridie is so friendly and helpful it is always great to see her .I have already booked for next year and looking forward to it again.

The owner and her family couldn’t have been kinder.

They were extremely helpful with directions, as well as helping us navigate trains, buses etc. We had a toilet seat that was loose and her son came and fixed it immediately. We needed more towels, Bridie brought them immediately. We felt safe there and would take walks on their farm. We even met their sweet dog Dora who we would always look forward to being greeted by when we returned home. I highly recommend their homey farm cottage.

Great location very easy to get everywhere.

Paddy was very helpful. And the kids loved our daily visits from little Dora the Jack Russell. House was very clean and had everything we needed.

Borahard Lodge is clean, well-equipped, comfortable, and homely.

You can hear the traffic from the nearby main road, but it did not spoil our stay or prevent sleeping. It is an excellent base for exploring the Wicklow Mountains. Newbridge and Naas have all the shops and excellent restaurants.

Brilliant stay ahain.

Great area

The owners were very nice and helpful.

The cottage was cute and the grounds were beautiful. Good location to Dublin and other towns.

Disappointing.

Generally everything needs a spruce up.

Just had a lovely 3 night stay a Borahard lodge in a lovely quiet location!

Rooms are big my grandchildren loved it there plenty of room to run around and burn off energy! Bridie and family go out of their way for you, lovely people! milk and eggs from farm were lovely gift would highly recommend and will definitely stay again

This is a gem of a property and made for a wonderful 8 night stay.

It is well equipped and beds are comfy and easy to get anywhere. We even took the green bus one night to Mooney’s Pub in Monasterevin and back and bus stop is in close proximity. Hosts are very accommodating even when our plane was delayed by 12 hours and we checked in at 2 am. Patrick came out to greet us. Highly recommended this purpose built cottage. We will book again for sure. Kate & PJ (from Canada)

Bourahard Lodge is the best place to stay it has everything anybody needs for a great holiday.

The cottage is very well equipped with everything that you need it is ideal for getting to the motorway and there is plenty of places to visit nearby. Bridie the owner is most welcomig friendly and always there for advice and information. I have been coming here for some years now and have always been made very welcome. Highly recommend it for a great holiday. I will be back again next year thank you once again for a fantastic week.

This is a great location for planning day trips.

So many places like Glendalough, Russborough House, Kilkenny, etc. within 1 to 1 1/4 hours' drive away. The house was cozy, and the beds were comfortable. Our hosts were very pleasant and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Recommend this place and expect we'll be back next year!

Was very happy with the hosts of this cottage who live next door.

Even a personal farm tour incl. help to milking the cows and collecting eggs from chicken and ducks was made possible for my daughter. Fantastic!

Thanks once again for a fantastic stay I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants the comfort of every thing that you have at home.

The cottage has everything you need and is always spotless. The owners are the most friendly and helpful people and always on hand if needed. Hope to be back again soon. Thank you once again.

A lovely cottage that was in an excellent location for what we wanted to do and a very friendly owner.

Very good value for money. Our only comment was that there was no heating in the ensuite shower room, but apart from that it met all our expectations. Thank you and we would consider using the property again in the future.

Bridie is a lovely host and the bungalow was fine.

One thing to make future guests aware of are the stone floors throughout as I did not take my slippers! Our trip to Ireland was fantastic and we will be back.

I have been coming here for some years now and find it is excellent.

The owners are very friendly and helpful you could not find anyone who is more interested in making your stay as comfortable and homely as possible. The cottage has everything you need and is easy to get to a lot of places for a very enjoyable holiday. I look forward to coming back again soon thank you once again .

The only thing I would change is by putting down that it's on a farm as this is misleading as might put some people off or they might think they have access to animals.

We really enjoyed our stay
