Kate's Cottage

John and Katriona were perfect hosts.

They welcomed us with scones, butter and orange juice. The cottage ist perfectly cosy. Most of all I loved the open fire place. John lit a fire for us every evening. He gave us tipps what to do and without his walking sticks we wouldn't have made all the way up to Croagh Patric, the absolute highlight of our tour. The view up there is amazing and Kate's Cottage is a perfect place to start Trips around.

Kate's Cottage is a wonderfully decorated cottage with much passion for detail.

It has everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen is very well equiped with a huge fridge to stock up on food. The location is very quiet inmidst of nature, ideally situated to explore county Mayo. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic location, close to many amenities.

Yummy scones and fire lit on arrival. Johnny and Catriona were very friendly hosts. Fire was lit when we came back on an evening which was a lovely touch. Visited Ireland many times but this accommodation is the best we’ve stayed in by far. Would highly recommend.

A really lovely cottage well equipped throughout.

Our hosts Jonnie and Catrina could have not been more welcoming. When we got lost on the way in, Jonnie drove out to meet us and guided us the last 3 miles. When I could not contact our next cottage by phone to arrange our key collection, Catrina sorted the problem on her own phone. All that as well as the fresh scones, fresh orange juice and milk on arrival. We were well looked after.

Kate's Cottage provides very high-quality accommodation in a peaceful rural location.

It is an ideal base for exploring County Mayo, County Galway and parts of the Wild Atlantic Way. The coast and two wonderful national parks are all easily accessible from the cottage. The owners live nearby and are extremely kind, friendly and helpful. They make every effort to ensure your holiday is an enjoyable one. We had wonderful holiday here and highly recommend this delightful cottage.

We found the property to be clean, comfortable and well maintained.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was well situated for us to explore the surrounding towns and lovely coastal areas.
