Glor Cottage

Lovely cottage in a very quiet rural area.

15 to 30 minutes to various towns for pubs, restaurants and shopping. Large bedrooms with very comfortable beds. 3rd bedroom has nowhere to put clothes. No wardrobe, hooks, hangars or drawers. Good size bathroom with large walk in shower. Couch needs replacing as it's very uncomfortable. General cleaning good but it really needs painting inside. Walls very grubby and dirty in places. All in all would recommend but just needs a little bit of TLC.

Blissful peace and quiet.

Lovely countryside. Enjoy!

Lovely cottage, very comfortable, did take a couple of trips along the road to find it as I was looking for a cottage with a red door and it is now blue.

My fault, should have used the Eir code! Owners very nice, there was a problem with the shower and a new one was fixed within a couple of days. Very peaceful with beautiful views to enjoy in the evening.

The cottage was excellent had everything you would need for a relaxing holiday and the owners were very helpful I would highly recommend glor cottage and we hope to return again FRANK AND PATRICIA AND OSCAR THE DOG

Thank you for a lovely week on pilgrimage to Knock.

The cottage is beautiful inside and out. The view from the front of the property is stunning.

We loved our stay in the lovely cottage.

The quiet area, beautiful scenery and comfortable home. Thank you for having us. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Glor Cottage; ideal location near to main roads; Knock Shrine and Knock Airport.

Only 45mins - 1 hrs from/ to Galway. Property was spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable and the family of the cottage were very friendly. My children were also delighted with the cows in the next field. Would recommend and hope to stay again. Thank you

Fantastic stay cottage was beautiful and comfortable beds brilliant views can’t fault the place would recommend this cottage 100%

We had a very restful holiday in Glor Cottage, the family are lovely and the house was spick and span.

There were nice quiet roads on the doorstep for walking the dogs. It is within easy driving distance of supermarkets and shops for the essentials and Castlebar, Foxford and Westport for outings.

Very comfortable cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nothing is perfect but it certainly fulfilled all the criteria listed. It is in a great location and convenient to all places of interest in the area. To hear the sound of the cuckoo was amazing! Would have no hesitation in recommending Glor Cottage as a holiday destination. Our doggie had a brilliant time as there were plenty of safe walks in the vicinity.

Lovely cottage enjoyed our stay and even saw Joe Biden visiting Knock Shrine

We had a lovely stay at this cottage.

Very cosy, comfy beds and a nice quiet location. Has everything you could possibly need. Would recommend.

Lovely cottage slightly hidden away surround by beautiful countryside.

Owned by local family who go above and beyond to help you. Cose to main road link and Airport. The cottage is traditional with a bit of modern . Modern kitchen.

We had a lovely time visiting Glor Cottage.

The house is lovely and comfortable with everything you would need. It’s kept spotless and the beds are so comfortable. It was especially lovely having the garden and sitting outside every evening with the swallows all swooping as the sun went down. We would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a convenient base to explore the west. It’s also only ten minutes from The airport too.

A lovely and comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting.

We really have enjoyed our holiday at Glor cottage. We want to give a big thank you to Catherine and John for their kind and warm hospitality.

Lovely cottage and a great location to relax and get away from it all.

Owners were very friendly and helpful too.

Not a place to stay very unclean and damp

The cottage is a fabulous retreat set in the heart of County Mayo.

All around the fields are green with some wonderful walks along many quiet lanes and pathways. Also there are many really great attractions in easy reach including Ballycroy National Park which is one of our favourites. Everything has been well thought out with everything needed being in place. Anyone booking this cottage will not go wrong and is in for a really great holiday.

The Cottage was clean, comfortable and had no issues at all.

A very comfy and lovely place.!
