“The cottage was amazing, very spacious and we liked that each bedroom had access to its own bathroom.”

Beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The views from the living area upstairs were stunning. Definitely would book again.

About the location

MULRANNY, COUNTY MAYO

Newport 10 miles; Westport 18 miles.

Mulranny is a vibrant seaside village situated on the isthmus between Clew Bay and Bellacragher Bay on the Wild Atlantic Way in County Mayo, Ireland. The area is noted for its excellent walking and cycling facilities, most notably several marked looped trails and the Great Western Greenway, a purpose built 43 km traffic-free cycling and walking facility where you can take in some of the most idyllic scenery in the West of Ireland. The area is also home to a variety of interesting flora and fauna and the seashore is fringed by Mediterranean heath, a plant which, in Ireland, is restricted to County Mayo. Angling enthusiasts can enjoy shore fishing or sea angling while Mulranny also boasts a beautiful Blue Flag beach and a nine hole golf links.
