The Dairy

We enjoyed our stay at The Dairy - perfectly located for exploring South East Ireland.

Very peaceful and cosy - bed was very comfortable too.

Cottage is beautiful to look at but it needs a lot of TLC.

Beautiful setting. Very peaceful. Lovely areas to sit and watch the rabbits and the birds( especially the swallows). There's an enormous pond with ducks, geese etc. Bed is really comfortable but no headboard so can't sit up with a cuppa. Great shower in a big bathroom. Owner is very friendly. The couch is really low and uncomfortable. No rail in wardrobe to hang clothes just 4 hangars and a few hooks. No hand towels provided. Could do with a few hooks to hang used towels in bathroom. There are too many bits and pieces everywhere that all add to the dust, cobwebs and spiders. It really needs a good clearout and a good cleaning. There is dust and cobwebs and spiders in every corner, wall, ceilings and on all the bits and pieces. If you're afraid of spiders don't stay here. The shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, toothpaste and toothbrushes were much appreciated. In its current form I wouldn't recommend it. It just needs a bit of care and attention.

Amazing setting and attention to detail. We especially loved getting to know you and have you share your life with us in this “small world” situation we found ourselves in. So fun to know that you spend time in the US near our family! This ended up being a highlight of many highlights of our month of June Ireland

Had the most amazing stay at the dairy!

The owners Bridget and Fenton were super gracious and very welcoming! I enjoyed daily conversations with them both. I was traveling alone and they made me feel right at home! I will most definitely be returning!

Bridget the owner was great and made us feel at home. The cottage is the most beautiful place nestled in the countryside just outside the village . It was perfectly located for Cahir and the river Suir for fly fishing . We will certainy like to return.

The Dairy is a cosy cottage in a quiet location.

Starting point for exploring away from the tourist hotspots. Those who love nature and tranquillity are certainly in good hands there.

Terrific knowledge of the local area and must see places to visit . A quiet, quaint, extremely peaceful place to relax and unwind after a days touring around and exploring .

Stayed here at the ‘Dairy’ with my wife for a week, 7th-14th September 24.

Beautiful setting in converted out buildings on a working farm but you’d never guess, it was so quiet. Plenty of cobwebs due to the high ceiling but not off putting. (Window cleaner sorted that out)

Our third stay here within 12 months and we will surely return next year.

It’s so peaceful and our hosts are very caring We were fortunate with the weather too! There’s plenty to see and do when touring around. Information leaflets in the property are very helpful. Au revoir!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage in Ireland.

The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and in a beautiful setting. We would certainly stay again.

This is a lovely, peaceful, friendly place to stay.

The hosts are very caring and the location is good for touring and visiting other beautiful places. Many thanks for the support we received following our car's mechanical breakdown. We were fortunate enough to be able to extend our stay for an extra week without any further upheavals!

Lovely location and we really enjoyed the quaintness of the property.

The only things that was holding back from being a perfect stay. 1. Pillows were flat and hard 2. Bedding was poor quality, bottom sheet was full of nubs and hair. It was very scratchy and kind of gross picking hair off. 3. The sofa really needs to be changed out, it’s seen its day and is very uncomfortable and needs a good cleaning. 4. The property could use some fine tuning in the cleaning , overall decent, however, lots of cobwebs, night table wasn’t too clean , dressing table needed a good dusting. Overall we enjoyed our stay .. the biggest drawback being the poor quality bedding. Not at all as photographed. And the sofa is very tired and not at all in the condition like the picture. Very easy complaints from me to fix. Shower was great, bed comfortable, lots of towels, soaps etc. Very friendly owners and a very sweet horse.

The sofa in the living was terrible and very uncomfortable to sit on.

Far too low. I struggled to get in/out of it. Really let the place down. We struggled with finding the place and found the directions very poor. This led to a poor first impression of the cottage. The curtain rail about the bed was broken and needs repair. The bed was very comfortable and it overall the cottage was lovely. The hosts were friendly without being intrusive.

We had the best holiday we have ever had in this beautiful little cottage.

The area and the dwelling itself were exactly what was listed and perfect for what we wanted. The lovely couple who owned or ran the cottage were such wonderful and helpful people and the village within walking distance has stolen our hearts too. We will be back and staying in exactly the same spot again. Superb.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Dairy.

We were made to feel most welcome. So lovely and quiet. We could only hear birds and the cockerel first thing in the morning.
