“We left the property cleaner than we found it.”
There was dust in every corner off the property and under the bed.There was no instructions on how to work the hot water. The shower was not suitable for a disabled person. The radiator in the bathroom wouldn't work. The property or surrounding area was not suitable a wheelchair user. On a plus the locals were lovely as was the local pub which permitted our dog onto their premises.
We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We have had customers with levels of disability stay with us before without issue. We would ask that anyone with a disability contact us through Sykes to discuss the property before booking to access the level of need and our suitability. . Sykes are very responsive when it comes to these types of things, they do contact us and they do ensure that the property is suitable for their customer when asked. We will look further into the cleaning issues and thank you for raising them. I can confirm that all radiators, hot water etc. do work fully and have not been an issue to date. We do accept that this was not your experience. The shower is large but it does not have disability rails or a seat in it etc. We are glad that you enjoyed the local hospitality which is a key part of the experience.
