    “We had a fantastic time staying in this Holiday home plenty of space very clean the host was very friendly Would recommend it as it is only one hour from most cities like Kilkenny,Waterford,Wexford,Gorey,Arklow and one and a half hours to Dublin if you are from over sea.”

On the outskirts of Enniscorthy, County Wexford, sits this wonderful, semi-detached cottage, located next to the owner's farmhouse and working farm.

Offering both traditional and contemporary country living, this stylishly decorated Enniscorthy cottage in the Sunny South East is perfect for groups of friends and large families alike.

This Enniscorthy cottage is wheelchair accessible and benefits from three bedrooms, a spacious and bright open plan living area, comprising of a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, perfect for cooking up traditional Irish feasts to impress the rest of your party.

There is also a large sitting area with a warming open fire and French doors that open to the front garden.

If you fancy some time with your favourite book, the separate sunroom is the perfect place to go and also benefits from French doors which lead out to the front garden.

Guests will find a sheltered, pretty lawned area from the front of this cottage near Enniscorthy which is ideal for soaking up the sun.

There is also a gravelled area with furniture where guests can sit and plan the next day's schedule.

Enniscorthy is the second largest town in County Wexford and is known for its picturesque surroundings, many festivals and its friendly atmosphere.

There are many attractions and activities to keep everyone busy, for example, fishing, golfing, horse riding and there are many walks available, ideal for taking in all of the beautiful scenery.

The Enniscorthy farmers' market is a fabulous place for picking up local ingredients for putting in your traditional dishes back at your cottage.

The Enniscorthy Castle, dating back to the 12th century, is also a fascinating place to visit.

County Wexford's coastline is fantastic, with seaside towns offering tasty eateries, friendly pubs and superb scenery and wonderful sandy beaches scattered along the way.

Kilmore Quay is a tiny fishing village that is well-worth visiting and St Helens also has a wonderful beach that is definitely worth the trip.

This Enniscorthy cottage is a wonderful holiday base and the surrounding area has something to offer everyone.

Enniscorthy is the second-largest town in County Wexford and has a history dating back over 1500 years. It is situated at the tidal extreme of the River Slaney, approximately 14 miles to the north of Wexford. The town has a hilly feel and boasts a splendid Norman castle, which is home to the Wexford County Museum containing items of local and agricultural interest. There is a further interactive museum in the town dedicated to telling the story of the famous 1798 rising. Nowadays the town has a wealth of facilities available to visitors including a swimming pool, leisure centre, golf, tennis, a fantastic mixture of shops, pubs and restaurants, and a farmers' market, which is held every Saturday. Enniscorthy makes for a fantastic touring base being close to beautiful mountains and long stretches of coastline just waiting to be explored. A fantastic place to discover at any time of the year!
