The property

Seahaven, a rural retreat is positioned in Tuosist in a prime location on the Wild Atlantic Way, on the Ring of Kerry and really does live up to its name. A single storey detached property set on an elevated position commanding the most spectacular sea views of Kenmare Bay.

A wonderful vast sense of seascape including a backdrop of mountain ranges is such that the house almost feels that it sits within an infinity pool at the end of the garden! Perfect for a family gathering or a break with friends.

Seahaven boasts stunning sea and countryside views, set within beautiful landscaped gardens in one of the most beautiful parts of Southern Ireland. The house is finished to a high standard offering a tasteful open plan feel with homely furnishings and decor. A bright entrance hallway greets you with space for your coats and shoes.

From here, the living areas flow through from one area to another with ample internal and external furnishings where guests can sit and relax and admire those magical sea views. Well equipped, the stylish internal space has everything you need for eating in.

Relax in the sun room with a good book, watch a movie, play board games or master a puzzle.

There is a writing desk corner should you need to work whilst on holiday.

Seahaven provides a perfect peaceful retreat for a writing sabbatical.

Good WiFi reception. The house predominately sleeps six guests with three ensuite bedrooms consisting of one King size bedroom and two double bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. Please note: There is a fourth separate twin room with two single beds ideally suited as a childrens room as there is no en-suite bathroom facilities. This property ensures you are spoilt for choice with outdoor space.

A rear patio area provides a perfect morning sun trap to enjoy an al fresco breakfast, brunch or lunch. The front terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy the late afternoon and early evening sun with a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down over a stunning back drop of mountain ranges and Kenmare Bay. Ideally located on the Wild Atlantic Way Coast road between Tuosist and Lauragh.

A variety of scenic days out await you. If your looking for one of the best pints of Guinness in Ireland, head to the nearby Helen's Bar where you can sit out on the pier and enjoy the Guinness with a lovely bowl of mussels fresh from the sea. Also within reach is Derreen Gardens and Cafe should you fancy a light bite in a picture-perfect garden setting or head out to Josie's Restaurant for a lakeside lunch. For the active bunch amongst you, find Star Outdoors on the Kenmare road which offers sea water activities seasonally with paintballing, kayaking, sailing, crazy golf and inflatable courses to keep you occupied.

Close by is Alpaca trekking at the Naked Sheep. The walking trails are right on the doorstep and this incredible area is the perfect cycling spot for outdoor enthusiasts.

Why not venture into the tourist hotspot, the seaside town of Kenmare with its great offering of shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, petrol stations and art galleries.

Kenmare is the closest main town for shopping and hosts a farmers market every Wednesday and is a short drive from the house. Ardgroom is a small village on the Beara Peninsula crossing over into County Cork but is within a half an hours drive from the house.

The village contains a shop, post office, deli and the closest petrol station. Seahaven, the perfect coastal and rural retreat in the region of County Kerry on the Wild Atlantic Way.

KENMARE, COUNTY KERRY

Glengarriff 19 miles; Killarney 25 miles.

A picturesque town situated on the stunning Bay of Kenmare, overlooking the gleaming Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful beaches, wildlife and lovely scenery abound here. The coastline is rugged with sandy beaches close by, while pebble beaches surround the bay itself. Kenmare is an interesting town, full of character and colour, with long winding streets setting the scene for farmers' markets, artists' galleries, lovely little boutiques and some of the best restaurants in Ireland! The town is also situated on the Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way. The famous town of Killarney has an abundance of attractions, pubs, festivals and its National Park is about 35 minutes’ drive away, and though there is much to see and do here, the pace of life is still leisurely and unhurried. With the Beara and Dingle Peninsulas nearby and the Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way to explore, makes this an ideal base for exploring Kerry to Cork. This great location is not to be missed!
