This lovely, stone-built first floor studio apartment is half a mile from Ardfinnan in County Tipperary.

Situated on a working farm with Connemara ponies, the apartment is perfect for couples seeking a rural, romantic retreat in a beautiful part of Ireland.

Beneath its exposed, beamed cathedral ceiling, this welcoming holiday home consists of a kitchen with a sitting area and a dining area, a double bed and a shower room.

To the front of the building is a shared courtyard with furniture, where you can relax with a refreshing drink as you plan the next day?s activities, or dine alfresco in the summer sun.

Ardfinnan is a small, picturesque village, close to the River Suir, where you can enjoy fishing or a stroll through the beautiful countryside surrounding it, before calling in at the local pubs and shop.

In the centre of the village is the Norman Ardfinnan Castle and just eight miles away, Clonmel is the largest town in the county.

Here, there is a plethora of restaurants, cafes and pubs for you to experience, together with a large variety of shops.

The town is well-known for being the home of Magners Cider and you can also visit Clonmel Racecourse, which is set in 160 acres of landscaped countryside.

If you fancy a game of golf then Clonmel Golf Club is sure to suit all tastes; set in the foothills of the Comeragh Mountains, it boasts magnificent views across the valley of the River Suir.

The scenery of the Waterford and Tipperary countryside is magnificent, meaning that walkers and cyclists are well catered for with glorious backdrops to any excursion!

Ardfinnan is a small village situated close to the Knockmealdown Mountains on the River Suir, in the south of County Tipperary. The village features a beautiful open green, several good pubs, a shop, and Ardfinnan Castle, an impressive Norman construction hovering majestically in the centre of this picturesque village. Just eight miles away, the lively town of Clonmel lies close to the border of Tipperary and Waterford. The town is probably most famous for being the home of Magners Cider and has a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Full of history, Clonmell is the only town in Ireland that managed to hold off Oliver Cromwell’s New Model Army during his siege on Ireland in the 17th century, using the tactics of General O’Neill, the townsfolk were evacuated to safety. The nearby Nire Valley offers many walking and cycling opportunities, with the Comeragh Mountains as an impressive backdrop. Ardfinnan is close to the M8 motorway, providing easy access to County Cork and Dublin, the perfect base for exploring Ireland, all year round!
