Wow, Wow, Wow!

! Excellent holiday house, could not fault it! Everything has been thought of, and More! We had a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Beds very comfortable, overall lots of space. Would definitely stay at again.

We highly recommend this property, beautiful house, very clean and quiet.

It has everything you need, comfortable beds, all furniture, all fittings and fixtures are good quality. Four of us stayed here while on a golf trip, perfect base for golf, walking trips and much more. If you’re thinking of booking this house, just book it. What a gem of a cottage!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sliabh Amharc. The house was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and full of all the mod cons you could ask for. The shops are conveniently near and cooking in the large kitchen was a pleasure.

We stayed with 6 adults and 2 small children. Cot supplied, welcome basket, clean, welcoming place. I highly recommend this house for a stay.

Could be a tad cleaner but generally lovely, comfy beds, very spacious, perfect for a big family or group of friends!

A spacious well-equipped house with easy access to Belfast, the Mourne Mountains and other attractions.

Shops and restaurants in the town were not far away and parking was easy.

Wow - the photos on here really do not do justice to how spacious, clean, well stocked and homely this is.

A generous welcome pack met us after a long day travelling. Ger responded quickly to text messages throughout the stay. We wished we could have stayed longer.

The location of this property was perfect for what we needed.

The facilities were excellent, there was everything you would need and more. It was really spacious inside, even with 7 people in it didn’t feel cramped. The beds were really comfy too. We would happily stay here again next time we visit the area.

Excellent accommodation.

Finished to a very high standard. Bright, clean, spacious, modern, comfortable with beautiful furnishings. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Ample living space with enough seats for everyone in the living-room and dining-room. Bright and airy kitchen with everything we needed. Treats for us left by the owner which was very thoughtful. Dog bed, bedding, food and water bowls, and toilet bags which was much appreciated. The driveway accommodated four cars which was great. As a suggestion, although there isnt an enclosed garden, outdoor seating would be nice and gates to secure the driveway as a safety feature for children and dogs. Otherwise this property is first class. Thank you.

Beautiful, spacious house, very generously provisioned.

Comfy beds and loads of toilets, very clean. Great location with lots to do and see within 10 min drive. Had a lovely stay, wish there was a garden.

The holiday property was extremely spacious, well equipped, and comfortable.

The many thoughtful touches were appreciated. We greatly enjoyed our week in County Down and this was an ideal base for exploring the area.

This is a beautiful property, very spacious with great facilities.

It was spotlessly clean on our arrival. Great base for us visiting family in Belfast while still having a break. Several people have mentioned the dogs being a noise issue, we barely heard them. We would definite go back

Lovely home from home .

. We really enjoyed our stay would stay again in the future. Only negative was a dog barking from downstairs ..

Everything was satisfactory except for the constant dog barking from downstairs.

I know it’s not your fault but after a few days it really start to grind and was very annoying.

Absolutely fabulous house, really spacious.

Comfortable beds and Lovely welcome pack. I would highly recommend this property. We used it as a base for an event we were attending at Bishops Court Motor Racing Circuit and found it very convenient.

For a holiday let, this property is amazing!

So roomy and well maintained , with everything you could possibly require. We were met by Ger, who welcomed us so genuinely. He told us to enjoy our stay at the house, which we certainly did! Location is ideal for day trips, and there is plenty to do locally also. All in all, we had a wonderful, and very relaxing time in Sliabh Amharc. Thank you Ger!

What a wonderful house.

We were made so welcome & then left to enjoy this beautiful house for our stay. Thank you so much for he week. We love N. Ireland but now more than ever.

Fantastic house with lots of space.

Only downside is that there is no garden to the back of the property. Only to the front which is used as a parking area. Not a problem in the winter but worth knowing when you come in spring and summer.

Property was fantastic, Gerald the host was very welcoming to his fantastic holiday let.

The welcome basket was very generous and had no problems what so ever. We were over visiting family and had my sister and her family stay over 2 nights. Everything we needed was provided and the beds where very comfortable. I would totally recommend this property and we will rebook for next year when we back visiting family. Merv & Wendy

Having used holiday properties on numerous occasions This has to be THE BEST.

Very comfortable, generously equipped house.

It had everything we needed. Ideal location for local sight seeing. Lots to see and do in the area. Gerard was the perfect host! Very quick to respond to requests, very generous with the best welcome hamper! Very spacious home, note that the only outdoor space is in front, just enough space to park 2, possibly 3 cars. Also, there can be a bit of noise from the dogs next door. But we really enjoyed our stay. Would be very happy to return.

Wow, I have stayed in some beautiful places in my time but this house was fantastic.

High quality, spotless and everything you could possibly need. The photos don't do it justice. I would 100% want to stay there again. A lovely warm welcome by the host who greeted us with flowers from his farm, basics like bread, milk and butter and a full snack basket (the kids were particularly delighted at that!).

Sliabh Amharc was a great property, beautifully finished, exceptional attention to detail and very comfortable.

It catered for all our needs including 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 guinea pigs ☺️Gerard was an exceptional host, very generous with his welcome pack, attentive and responded quickly. We would definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone.

A beautiful, spacious property with well considered features.

It is located for easy access to the Mournes, Newcastle, Strangford and beyond.. The owner gave us a warm welcome and a very generous welcome pack, which we enjoyed! A luxury home from home.
