Close to the owners, who live next door, inside it has been completely renovated to provide a warm and welcoming base for friends and families seeking a rural escape to Ireland.

Spend your evenings keeping up to date with all your favourite shows and enjoying quality family time in the open-plan sitting room, whilst the dining area has seating for up to eight people, a wonderful social space for the whole family to dine together.

The kitchen area is amply-equipped with everything you will need to set you up for a weekend in the countryside.

The property benefits from three ground-floor double bedrooms and a first-floor double bedroom; the bedrooms have a range of contemporary furnishings, which complement the light decor, and offer an abundance of space to store your personal items.

While you're in the area, make sure you take a day trip towards Westport, described as an oasis in western Ireland.

Another must-see location is Kylemore Abbey, a dramatic Benedictine monastery, a fantastic setting on the edge of a lake with a Victorian walled garden, tea rooms and a shop to explore.

Also enjoy a trip to Clifden, an excellent tourist hub with a selection of shops and supermarkets for picking up some essentials, as well as a choice of pubs for that fine dining experience.

The seaside village of Tully sits on the picturesque Renvyle Peninsula, County Galway. The village lies on the Atlantic Ocean, and fishermen still land the daily catch on the small pier by the beach. The village has two bars, a Post Office, a supermarket and a horseriding centre, as well as Teach Ceoil, a music house which holds traditional evenings of music each Tuesday evening during July and August. Across the bay are the mountains of Mweelrea and Croagh Patrick, and within easy reach are Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, and Inishbofin Island, not to mention numerous walking and cycling routes, sea cruises, angling trips and much more. A wonderful base for a relaxing Irish holiday.
