    “We had a wonderful time.”

    Loved the location and the quiet and all the sheep! Owner was very thoughtful, leaving home baked bread, snacks, water, and supplies for the wood stove. We would highly recommend. Only bummer was that there was some debris that came out of the spout of the tub so we couldn't use it but that was a small thing.

The traditional village of Oughterard is found in the west of Ireland on the shores of Lough Corrib, at the start of the Connemara Mountain range and close to the famous Western Way. Home to the Oughterard 18-hole championship golf course, Derroura Mountain Bike Trail and Aughnanure Castle, there are lots of things to see and do, and located next to Lough Corrib, Oughterard is great for lovers of fishing.
