The reason for not giving it top rating in categories is that some of the facilities were below expectation. 3 things in particular: the advertised microwave oven did not work. I left a voicemail message to the owners but they did not reply. Also, the pedestal basin had a hole in it which meant that water poured onto the floor when I tried to fill the basin. We had not been warned about this and it needs to be repaired. Finally, the kitchen drawer fronts are not all secure and, again, these need a simple repair job so that they do not fall off and detract from a lovely cottage.

We were unaware of the leaking sink; this has not been brought to our attention before, neither has the fact that the microwave isn't working. I will be sure to repair these.
