    “This is my second time staying in the Bay.”

    The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The situation is wonderful with beautiful views of the sea and hills from the garden. There are excellent beaches within easy reach and a really nice pub with a pleasant garden in the village. John, the owner, is friendly and helpful and if you have any problems he will sort them out immediately.

The Blue Flag beach of Derrynane is close by, where the children will love building sandcastles or you can go for a dip on warmer days.

Caherdaniel is a traditional Irish village located on the south western corner of the 'Ring of Kerry' in County Kerry. The history of the village dates back more than 2000 years as copper was mined in the surrounding mountains. It has a magnificent coastal setting and is home to a horse trekking stable which offers horse riding on the beach. Caherdaniel is perfectly placed for exploring all of the attractions in this popular part of Ireland such as 'The Kerry Way', a popular, well-marked and very beautiful walking route. Less than 2 miles away lies Derrynane; with an abundance of sea sports, Derrynane House, and its National Park, it provides a wonderful day out for all the family. The beautiful town of Kenmare can be reached in under an hour and has an excellent variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. For nature lovers, why not visit Valentia Island, located on the north west corner of the Ring of Kerry?
