    “Rose Cottage, Killala, Co.”

    Mayo, is a great 2 bedroom cottage centrally located in the small village of Killala. The cottage provided everything we needed for our weeks stay. Expect to find all the main appliances and fittings required in any home. Including a lot of the smaller items (not shown on the propery listing) such as, Iron, Ironiong board, Hair Dryer, copious large fluffy towels, hand towels etc. etc. Also, we were surprised to find extras, such as, salt/pepper/dried herbs/cooking oil/new bag of Charcoal, logs ...

Killala is a pretty seaside village located 8 miles north of Ballina in County Mayo. It boasts a traditional quayside full of colourful boats and overlooks an attractive formation of sand dunes which lie just off the coast. The main focal point of the village is a well preserved tall round tower dating back to the 12th century and there is a selection of shops, pubs and eateries dotted around the narrow streets. With fishing, golf, surfing and walking all on offer nearby you are sure to find something to keep you busy during your stay here.
