    “Cottage is beautiful to look at but it needs a lot of TLC.”

    Beautiful setting. Very peaceful. Lovely areas to sit and watch the rabbits and the birds( especially the swallows). There's an enormous pond with ducks, geese etc. Bed is really comfortable but no headboard so can't sit up with a cuppa. Great shower in a big bathroom. Owner is very friendly. The couch is really low and uncomfortable. No rail in wardrobe to hang clothes just 4 hangars and a few hooks. No hand towels provided. Could do with a few hooks to hang used towels in bathroom. There ...

There are too many bits and pieces everywhere that all add to the dust, cobwebs and spiders. It really needs a good clearout and a good cleaning. There is dust and cobwebs and spiders in every corner, wall, ceilings and on all the bits and pieces. If you're afraid of spiders don't stay here. The shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, toothpaste and toothbrushes were much appreciated. In its current form I wouldn't recommend it. It just needs a bit of care and attention.

Ardfinnan is a small village situated close to the Knockmealdown Mountains on the River Suir, in the south of County Tipperary. The village features a beautiful open green, several good pubs, a shop, and Ardfinnan Castle, an impressive Norman construction hovering majestically in the centre of this picturesque village. Just eight miles away, the lively town of Clonmel lies close to the border of Tipperary and Waterford. The town is probably most famous for being the home of Magners Cider and has a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Full of history, Clonmell is the only town in Ireland that managed to hold off Oliver Cromwell’s New Model Army during his siege on Ireland in the 17th century, using the tactics of General O’Neill, the townsfolk were evacuated to safety. The nearby Nire Valley offers many walking and cycling opportunities, with the Comeragh Mountains as an impressive backdrop.
