“It would be helpful to have notes adjacent the power switches so we could identify what was what.”
“Very nice location and very clean house.”
Very friendly and helpfull owners.
“The location of the cottage is great.”
Facilities leave nothing to wish for. Extremely welcoming and caring host. We will definitely come again!
Keshcorran View is a lovely place to stay. Within easy reach of Knock Airport and places of interest, including fantastic beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way. The house itself is very clean and has everything needed for a pleasant holiday. The conservatory and front bedroom have perfect views of the impressive countryside including Keshcorran Caves. The owner, Grainne, gave us plenty of advice for places to visit and eat in the area, and we were able to contact her at any time. Highly recommended.
“Ideal Spot in South Sligo”
This is a lovely home set in the country hills of Sligo. We met the owner, Grainne, in Gurteen and followed her out the country road to the house. In addition to giving us a complete rundown on the house, she provided many suggestions on area restaurants, pubs, attractions, etc. This was an excellent location with easy access to the towns of Gurteen, Ballymote, and Tobercurry as well as the bustling little city of Sligo. This made it easy to visit relatives outside Tobercurry. Some of our favorite restaurants were the Coach House (Ballymote), Murphy's (Tobercurry), and Dave's Restaurant/Yeats Tavern (Drumcliffe, Sligo). Other highlights were Eagles Flying (Ballymote), an incredible show with trained raptors and Roisin Dubh (Gurteen), traditional Irish music as good as any I've heard in Ireland. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare dinner on the few nights we stayed at home. The conservatory was a lovely place to relax with an evening drink and enjoy the wonderful view of Keshcorran.,

The house was most welcoming - very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen for the cooking dinner on the few nights we stayed home, and a conservatory to relax with an evening drink and gaze at Keshcorran set in the tranquill green hills. All in all, a great experience.
“Superb well-equipped rental in lovely rural Ireland”
Lovely modern bungalow, very well appointed and presented. It is situated on a hill overlooking Keshcorran and the caves of Keshcorran (as the name suggests!). There is a lovely conservatory where you can sit an drink in the view whatever the weather. There are plenty of opportunities for walking locally and the nearby village of Gorteen has a small supermarket and good pubs (there is also a local pub within walking distance). The owner Grainne is very welcoming and helpful and gave us plenty of ideas for trips out and entertainment. The Tuesday night traditional music session at the Roisin Dubh in Gorteen was the best I've experienced in Ireland.

“This is a lovely bungalow set amongst some lovely scenery.”
The location was quiet and peaceful but was convenient for the road network and so is a good base for touring. We visit Ireland ( the ancestral home ) usually twice a year and this cottage was amongst the best we have ever stayed in and Grainne our host was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommended.
“The cottage is in a stunning location, with spectacular views across the valley, to the Caves of Kesh - well worth a look, if you are up to a moderately steep climb, through meadows and heath.”
The household equipment is first rate and made self catering a pleasure. Beds were very comfortable and towels large and fluffy! Sligo is only a few kilometers away and has a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. The Model Art Gallery and theatre offers interesting exhibitions and also has an excellent cafeteria. We were fortunate enough to be there for the International Chamber Music Festival and attended concerts at both The Model and Drumcliff Church, where WB Yeats is buried. The owner of Kesh Corran View, met us in Boyle and guided us to the cottage. She was a most welcoming and assiduous host - attentive but not intrusive and gave us a lot of excellent local advice. We certainly hope to return to this beautiful, uncrowded part of Ireland and would happily stay in this cottage again.
