Julie “It was an absolute pleasure staying at Ash Drive House.”
Helen, the owner, was so accommodating, kind and considerate. From welcoming snacks aswell as milk in the fridge on our arrival, to leaving lighting on (within her property) to aid us in the dark as we loaded the car due to a very early departure, a very thoughtful lady. Would definitely stay here again and reccomend to family and friends.

Matt “A little slice of heaven in the Wexford countryside!”
Helen and Sam were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The accommodation was spacious, clean, family friendly, and extremely comfortable, and the surrounding countryside beautiful. It felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
- Matt, March 2023Muhammad “Excellent location and very polite host.”
We have no complaints at all regarding cleanliness and facilities at the house. The only thing that can be improved is that the WiFi signal is weak around the house except one room.
- Muhammad, February 2023Anne “Helen the owner is warm and welcoming.”
The view from the cottage is stunning. The facilities and comfort too are excellent. Within easy reach of Rosslare ferry port. The whole experience at this lovely cottage was what we needed to enjoy in Ireland.
- Anne, September 2022Sarah “Everything we needed for a lovely holiday”
- Sarah, August 2022Kevin “The accommodation exceeded our expectations.”
We were received with hospitality and felt welcomed throughout our stay. We would very much hope to be welcomed to stay with Helen and Sam again soon. Milo and Tammy also made us feel very welcome. The cakes, eggs milk and tea (made for us) on arrival helped us adjust after a long tiring journey.
- Kevin, July 2022Oana “The hostess Helen was a very pleasant lady who was attentive and respectful in ensuring that our stay was pleasant and restful and that we were accommodated in every way.”
We found this to be a lovely warm, safe, homely place to rest, restore and regenerate with beautiful beaches and places of interest within 10 to 30 minute driving distances. Thank-you.

- Joanne, July 2021Geraldine “This was the best house our family has stayed in for our summer holidays.”
It is very clean, comfortable and well equiped. Eventhough it is ajoining to the owners home it is very private with a lovely garden to enjoy. The owner Helen is a lovely woman, very friendly and helpful. There is lots to do in the area within driving distance.
- Geraldine, June 2021Frank “Helen the owner was lovely and happy to greet us on arrival to show us the property.”
She was lovely enough to give us some suggestions on things to do in the area which was helpful. The house is spacious and has all the main convivences anyone would need. I'd highly recommend choosing this property for your visit to the area.

The cottage is lovely and we had our privacy and everything else we needed.
- Nel, September 2020Nikki “We had a wonderful time as a family at Ash Drive House.”
Helen was a lovely host and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. The kids really loved staying on a working farm and the ducks and chickens walking around the property added to their excitement. We all felt it was a home from home and would definitely stay there again in the future.
- Nikki, August 2020Bernard “Helen, the owner was welcoming and friendly and everything was in good order when we arrived, the house is attached at the side of the main house on a working farm and it was nice for us city folks to see cows, hens, ducks and two friendly dogs about the place (the cows at a safe distance in a field nearby!”
). All in all a lovely restful week in a beautiful part of the country..
- Bernard, July 2020Edel “This house was a perfect location for my family, Morris Castle beach 10 mins drive, Gorey 10 mins drive, village 5 mins drive with supermarket that has everything.”
The house was clean, spacious & comfortable and our lovely host Helen was very friendly & helpful and not to forget mylo the dog that kept the kids company while they played in the garden. Edel
- Edel, July 2020Sonia “The property was perfect and just as described and the owner Helen was so friendly and helpful and if there is anything you need you only have to ask her.”
The house was spacious, clean and is well equipped with everything you could need. The wood burner was easy to light but as the range provided central heating and hot water we didn’t need to use the fire. The house is in a beautiful setting with gorgeous countryside views and travel to Gorey or the beach are only 10-15 minutes away. Helen’s dogs are friendly but not intrusive and we loved watching the parade of ducks through the garden everyday. We have had a great week and in fact we loved it so much we have already booked again for next year. We would most definitely recommend this property it is as I said just perfect.
- Sonia, September 2019Ralph “We had a very enjoyable stay.”
The house is very well equipped, and everything worked perfectly. The owners live next door, and were very helpful and welcoming. The house is about 180 yards form the road, and not easy to see from there. I missed the driveway twice. My Garmin satnav got the co-ordinates right, but gave the house as being on the wrong side of the road! There is a useful agricultural sign on the opposite side of the road about 30-40 yards from the entrance to the driveway - ask about it when you are arranging to collect the keys. RE
- Ralph, September 2019Lisa “The cottage is lovely, perfect for what we needed.”
Helen and Sam are so very welcoming too, it was lovely to arrive to some essentials and a homemade apple pie! If we needed anything they were available to help/provide, and their 2 friendly dogs added to our holiday. We're hoping to book again for next year.
- Lisa, August 2019Brid “We had a fabulous week in Helen and Sam holiday home.”
They were very kind to us and our children. The house was perfect with amazing views of the country side. Very near the beach and all other amenities a short drive. The house was so clean. Helen had tea coffee milk and lovely little home made cakes for the kids which was a lovely surprise. Will definitely return.
- Brid, August 2019Patrick “The kitchen appliances were filthy & the bedrooms smelt musty.”
There`s a lot of shrubbery around the windows & when opened several insects flew in. We stayed one night & caught the ferry back to England the following morning.
- Patrick, May 2019Paula “A lovely place to stay.”
- Paula, April 2019Joop “We booked an house in Gorey.”
But it was 13 km from there. The house was old and dirty. There had just leaving someone. According the full bin in the bathroom. The heating and woodstove in the living room was not working. It was there cold and moisture. Fortunately we were only sleeping here.

Plenty of space and good garden for children.
- Justin, October 2018Davida “Lovely comfortable cottage.”
Perfect hosts, even went so far as getting us supplies in to save us stopping for shopping on our way from the airport - AND made us an "apple pie". Felt completely at home. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Wonderful friendly people without being intrusive.

Short drive from Wexford town and Gorey, both super towns. Beaches beautiful and 10-20 minutes drive from cottage. Would definitely go back!
