Tralee, in County Kerry, is Ireland's 7th largest town, and a popular destination for tourists keen to take in the many all-weather attractions on offer. From Siamsa Tíre, Ireland's National Folk Theatre, to the Kerry County Museum and the annual Rose of Tralee Festival, there is so much on offer here.

Tralee itself has some excellent shopping, as well as a variety of places to eat and drink. A multi-screen cinema, historic buildings and wonderful open spaces (such as the Tralee Town Park) make this an attractive and welcoming spot for a visit, whatever the weather.

The Dingle and North Kerry Way both originate in the town, leading walkers out into the beauty of this part of the Kerry countryside. For those who prefer a casual stroll, there are some lovely walks in and around the town itself, including along the canalside. For an even easier ramble, why not simply stroll between holes on the Arnold Palmer-designed 18-hole Tralee Golf Course?

Tralee Bay and the rest of Kerry is on the doorstep, while the famous Tralee Aquadome offers year-round family fun.
