The property

Located just two miles from the village of Kilgarvan in south Kerry, this family-friendly detached cottage offers lovely accommodation for all ages.

Set in one of Kerry's most scenic regions, this Kilgarvan cottage offers three comfortable bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Cook delicious meals in the large kitchen before retiring to the comfortable sitting room with its warming open fire where you can sit back and dream of lazy days in this wonderful part of Ireland.

French doors lead from the sitting room to the lovely lawned gardens where the children can run off some energy as you relax with a refreshing drink while you plan the following day's activities.

The nearby village of Kilgarvan is home to a couple of pubs and a friendly shop, but the surrounding countryside will take your breath away.

The tranquil surroundings are only disturbed by the sounds of the local farms where the cows will always give you a warm welcome!

Just a short drive from Kilgarvan is the pretty town of Kenmare which is well served by a selection of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as many pubs offering authentic Irish music.

Drive out for the day to Killarney National Park and blow the cobwebs away or take a ride on one of Killarney's horse-drawn Jaunting Cars.

A charming cottage near Kilgarvan for your next Irish break.
