“Delightful stay in a beautiful place”

Well what can I say about stookisland cottage. To be honest the cottage doesn’t look that big from pictures or outside but when you get in it’s big and very spacious with everything you need for a wonderful also very clean and tidy we could not fault this place at all. we stayed for 1 week with our two young children and our dog enjoyed by all. situated in cromane and not far from all amenities and beaches plenty to do for all the family would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to visit the Kerry area. Could maybe do with a set of gates on drive way to stop young children and dogs going out onto lane.

We were not sure what to expect or what we could do as an active family of 4 but we were happily surprised by everything that we did. The owner was so welcoming and helpful and pointed us in the right direction so we had a fabulous and adventurous holiday. The house was warm, spacious, clean and with every amenity which made our time there even more special. The views and scenery were breathtaking. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

The small fishing village of Cromane lies just west of Killorglin and on the doorstep of the Ring of Kerry, in County Kerry. The village is divided in to three areas; Cromane, Cromane Upper and Cromane Lower. The area exudes peace and relaxation and is surrounded by the mountains on the Dingle Peninsula, just across the water and the Macgillycuddy Reeks mountain range containing some of Ireland's tallest peaks. The village has a shop, church and is home to Jack's Restaurant which is renowned as one of the area's best eateries.
