Burren National Park is a topsy-turvy wonderland with underground rivers, limestone caves and landscapes carpeted with flamboyant floral delights. Look out for the ancient Caherconnell Stone Fort and, if you're into cycling, follow the Dolmen Cycleway, a remote route crossing this incredibly beautiful region.

Don your walking boots and head out along the Mid Clare Way, a scenic path encircling the picturesque town of Ennis. Make time to visit the town too, awash with character buildings, winding streets and the Glór Irish Music Centre - a fantastic place to discover traditional music and dance. There's also lots of excellent shops in the local village, not to mention the award-winning 'Durty Nelly's' pub and restaurant.
Enjoy close encounters with bottlenose dolphins in the Shannon Estuary or join a wildlife tour from Kilrush Creek marina.
